Kyle Macaulay
Kyle Macaulay is a guitarist and sound engineer originally from Ramelton, Co. Donegal, based in Corca Dhuibhne. He studied Music and Politics at UCC where he was awarded 1st class honours and a Quercus performing arts scholarship. In 2021 Kyle graduated top of his class in the BMus programme. With Nicole Ní Dhubhshláine, he released the album “Barra Taoide” in 2019. Most recently Kyle recorded an album with CUAS, a celebration of West Kerry music. Kyle also engineered and mixed the album. He currently works for the Irish Traditional Music Archive (ITMA) as the organisation’s Operations Manager. With ITMA Kyle has directed and produced the Archive's TV content including Taoscadh ón Tobar, to be broadcast in May 2024.
